Why Oregon stays run long

Oregon is one of three states that put a minimum on temporary housing after a declared emergency. House Bill 3272, passed in 2021, requires at least 24 months of additional living expenses, extendable to 36, for a loss in a declared emergency area. California and Colorado are the other two, and all three are wildfire states.
